Our last stop in Michigan was the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. This is more than 40 miles of eroded Sandstone cliffs on the lower end of Lake Superior. We grabbed a tour boat in Munising Bay and headed out for … Continue reading →
Since I was 7 years old my “favorite” song has been “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald“. (Click Here to Listen to it) This song sparked an appreciation for “folk” music such as this and in fact for much more music … Continue reading →
So I know I’m over a month behind, and I’m sitting here beside the Pacific Ocean trying to capture everything that’s happened over the last five weeks for you all. As I said in the last update, it’s been a bit hectic. I know, poor pitiful me…:-)
But here’s the deal, I’m going to start working through the major milestones of the last 30 or so days and try to get us back up to speed. It’s time to take some downtime anyway. Just wanted to let you know that the Sleeping Bear Dunes post had an error and the links to videos contained within it were not working. These have been repaired now, so if you would like to watch those videos..please try again.
If you don’t want to watch the videos…then FINE! Just FINE with me!
As Tim and Jodi headed for home, we headed to Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was not far away and the day was still young. So many people had told us that we had to go to the Dunes if we went … Continue reading →
So I have learned that laundry is always a chore, but it is an extra pain in the butt when you have to wait around a laundromat to make sure to switch the load, then fold the laundry at the … Continue reading →
